Levi Harper is a Lumen Center Intern at Upper House and a student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison studying Political Science and Communications. Through his work in the Wisconsin State Legislature and several advocacy organizations, Levi has gained experience in policy research, legislative work, communications, and community engagement. These experiences have strengthened his interest in making complex issues clear and accessible.

Passionate about hospitality, community engagement, leadership, and bringing people together, Levi enjoys asking good questions, organizing people and events, and creating spaces where others feel seen. He is especially interested in exploring the intersection of faith and politics. Levi was drawn to the Lumen Center because he hopes to grow in his faith and deepen his understanding of how Christians can thoughtfully engage in public life. He looks forward to learning from the Lumen Fellows and growing spiritually and intellectually through his time at SLBF.

Outside of school and work, Levi loves cooking, going to concerts, and trying new coffee shops. He has traveled to 18 countries, released music that aired on Swedish radio, and won a state cooking competition. Levi loves making people laugh and says a good hug can make almost any day better.
